15th European Congress on Catalysis
Welcome to Congress EuropaCat, Prague, August 27 – September 1, 2023!
It is our great honor to invite you to the already 15th edition of the biannual congress of the European Federation of Catalysis Societies (EFCATS), EuropaCat, that will be held in August 2023 in the Prague Congress Centre, Prague, Czech Republic. The conference will be, for the first time, jointly organized by the catalysis societies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
Over the years, EuropaCat has become a traditional meeting place for scientists and researchers from academia and industry all over Europe. Consequently, it has developed into a forum to discuss important challenges in the field of catalysis and the related industrial areas and beyond. As we live at a time of rapid changes, the growing population, its changing needs and the ever-increasingly limited availability of resources to satisfy the societal needs dictate rapid advancement in finding and sustainably using our resources. To deal with these challenges, we need courageous and innovative ideas providing the prodigious spark to ignite the development, which only the industry can convert into real solutions helping the mankind.
We expect that the conference will attract over 1 500 participants from diverse fields of catalysis having academic as well as industrial background. We strongly encourage the participation of students, i.e. the future generation of scientists and researchers.
We would be excited if you join us in Prague at EuropaCat 2023 so that we can together innovate the production of energy carriers, chemicals and materials, while at the same time enhancing the quality of life on the Earth.
